"SUPPORTING SONS, FOSTERING FATHERS, HEALING HUSBANDS, CHANGING COMMUNITIES"

In the Summer of 2013 Pastor Ricky Floyd  had a vision to change the lives of inner-city young men. He saw a need that had not been addressed, a need that was negatively impacting the community economically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Early one Sunday morning he was led to ask his congregation how many men had been trained to be a husband. Pastor Floyd received a shocking response. Out of a congregation approaching 400, not one hand was raised, including his two sons. He followed that question with, “how many of you have been trained to rob, sell drugs, and scam etc.” Nearly every hand was raised.

the problem

High rates of poverty, single-parent homes, and absent fathers leave many young men without strong role models.
